Small City, Big Possibilities

Justin has always been a small city with big possibilities. The first settlers were French immigrants who came to Texas in 1848 hoping to establish a perfect Utopian community. By 1849, the French had abandoned their settlement, but eventually, new arrivals began buying up plots of land. A train route paved the way for more settlers. Business owners set up shop and by 1887 the town had its own post office.

Justin continued to grow but it never became a big city. That's part of its charm. While the population has nearly doubled over the past decade, at 3,437 citizens, it's still comfortably small and not crowded.
